Sun rays enter through the little gap of the window which is not covered by my purple curtain, signalling that it is another day of hell. As I stare at the ceiling of my room, colours switch around and play with my vision; red, blue, green, and purple. The light makes me dizzy. Looking to my right, my broken antique alarm clock stays stuck at nine. I don’t think I need to replace it any time soon. I wake up to my queen-sized bed with no companion for he has left me, leaving me with our daughter; Eileen.
